Perhaps like you, I’ve been journeying through a lot of heavy emotions these recent months.
I’ve come to recognize this tends to happen when I’m going through a time of significant personal growth.
I can’t say that I “enjoy” the process. But I’m getting better at acknowledging while I’m in it, and holding a sense of curiosity about it.
This curiosity brings some lightness and helps me be with the emotions.
So I can open my heart to what wisdom they’re offering.
I’ve come to view times like this as a shedding of layers. Layers that obscure my light. That create resistance and muddy my clarity.
This time, these layers feel very VERY old. Some feel quite threatening, restrictive, even intimidating.
Some present life stuff is woven in too, but so much feels very rooted in past lives, and in the lives of my ancestors.
There’s a lot to say on that, which I’ll share another time but here’s the amazing gift within all this…
I decided the time is NOW to free myself and shed these layers. Do you feel the same? Here’s what I recently did.
I held that intention in my heart as I went for a walk in a nearby park.
There’s a small grove of Oaks there, who I’ve connected with many times.
This time, I was guided to the two Oaks that stand closely together.
Since childhood, I’ve intuitively known that two trees standing close together offer us something powerful.
They create a portal. An energetic gateway. A way to move with intention from one state of being to another.
Here’s what I declared as I passed through my Oak portal. Feel free to use or edit for your own needs 🌳✨🌳
“I renounce and dissolve
Any and all vows, oaths, contracts and promises
That I and my ancestors entered into
In this life or past lives,
Willingly, forcibly or through coercion,
To suppress, diminish or dismiss
The gifts that are my birthright
So that I can experience inseparability with my Soul, Mother Earth and the Divine,
And fully share my Light with the world.”

I declared this several times out loud. Gaining strength each time I spoke the words.
As I passed through the Oak portal, a big gust of wind came up, whipping through my hair and sending leaves flying.
YES. So it is and so it shall be!
Remember, my friend, YOU create the magic with your intention.
Because you ARE a magical being. And Mother Earth is always here to co-create magic in your life.
Take note: it’s not about doing it in the “perfect place” or at a specific time, or in a particular way.
Exclusive and restrictive ways of creating magic are gone, gone, gone.
